Tzu Chi Charity Schemes Application

Who is eligible?

  • Individual or family facing financial difficulties due to illness or have to care for children, elderly or other dependents.
  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Household per capita income of $800 per month and below.
  • No savings or unable to sustain more than 3 months.
  • Agree for home visit assessment and monthly home visit by our volunteers if the case approved.

What is the application process?

  • Kindly note that only applications along with necessary supporting documents which are completed by 4th of the month will be considered for processing within the monthly timeline. 
  • For applications which are not completed with necessary supporting documents by the cut-off date, it will be brought forward for review schedule in the following month. 
  • Cut-off date will be brought forward to the preceding working day if 4th falls on a non-working date.

  1. Copy of Applicant NRIC
  2. Latest copy of Income Documents for all household members
    • Full-Time Employed : Payslips / CPF Contribution History / Letter of Employment
    • Self-Employed: IRAS Notice of Assessment and/or CPF Contribution History
    • Part-time/Unemployed: CPF Contribution History
    • All updated bank account passbook(s)/ statement(s)
  3. Other relevant supporting documents (if applicable)
    • Doctor’s memo certifying applicant’s fitness for work and duration of condition
    • Documents on assistance received from other organization(s)
  4. Additional supporting documents
    • Household Living Expenses Assistance: Latest Service and Conservancy Charges bill, Power Supply bill and Telecommunication bill
    • Interim Dialysis Assistance: CPF Transaction History (indicating Medisave Balance), CPF “My Messages” (indicating Medishield Status), Supporting documents of Private Medical Insurance (if any)
    • Medical Transport Assistance: Medical memo indicating patient’s mobility status, List of medical appointments
    • Medical Consumables Assistance: Medical memo indicating model and quantity of consumables required by patient
    • HIV Medication Assistance: Doctor’s prescription/medical memo
    • Education Fees Assistance: Billing document (if applicable)
    • EIPIC Fees Assistance: Screening Assessment Report, Quotation for EIPIC Programme Fees
